Moving out of home & the road to Naarm
Image of the stars above our campsite, from our roadtrip to Naarm.
Hey luvs. Sorry it’s been so long!
We recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. It’s been a month since we left tomorrow! Oh my god. Time is flying.
Last photos in our old home. Piles of clothes and packing selfies.
The last weeks before we moved were so chaotic. I guess it was more chaotic because we were a bit unprepared. Oops.
Packing our clothes. We have so much shit.
But we packed all our stuff into a pod. Said goodbye to it for a few weeks and hopped in the car.
Cleb & me in front of all of our belongings in our pod. On Polaroid.
Before we took things down. Our wall and fridge!
The night before we left. The sunset and rainbow just for us!
We left around midday the day after. I cried so hard when we left! Driving out of Brisbane felt like Ladybird! Or Call me by your name. When they’re in the car with their mum’s crying. But it was just Caeleb and I in a big car with our shit.
A private beach next to our first campsite. Illaroo, NSW.
It was so lovely driving! I’ve done the trip a few times before, when my sister moved down, when I moved back to Meanjin. But I’d never camped. The stars were so incredible! I actually saw so many shooting stars on the first night we camped alone. It felt like I needed the shooting stars after how intense the last couple of weeks in Meanjin were.
The big banana! Lol ♡
We stopped fairly regularly, especially in the first few days of the trip. Above is Port Macquarie. The water was sparkling.
More Port Macquarie.
The lake next to our second campsite. The water was so nice.
So many beautiful spots. Just off the side of the road. We went to a diner in Gundagai that was incredible.
Niagara Cafe! And views out the window.
We made it in 4 days! Which felt so crazy. Everything happened so quickly. It’s been a lot adjusting but things are slowly settling!
I’ll be back soon with some less emo posts. Wahoo!
